– er et af DK’s meget få fortolkere af The Doors magiske univers. Med forsanger og guitarist Christian Olesen i spidsen, og tre erfarne musikere bag sig, leverer vi en lidt hårdere, mere guitarbaseret fortolkning af The Lizard King’s fortryllende musik.

Christian Olesens stemme og karisma er foruroligende tæt på den originale stemme i The Doors, og samspillet og det eksperimentelle er det bærende element i turen gennem The Doors stærke repertoire.

Selvom The Doors musik er vild og vovet, usleben og uforudsigelig, så er det utroligt at se hvor mange generationer som har favnet musikken og taget den til sig. Mange unge nævner The Doors som et af deres største favoritbands. Musikken lever evigt.

Morrison er indtil videre et lokalt Københavner fænomen, men bandet håber at blive opdaget af kræfter, der kan sende os ud til et større publikum. De lokale jobs har givet et godt og begejstret stampublikum, men vi synes musikken skal bredere ud!

With less drama, but a lot of power and dedication, the Danish Doors Jam band “Morrison” take you ‘there’… to that special place, which inhibits the Doors music and poetry, and brings it ALIVE again! 

The charismatic frontman Christian Olesen (Lead singer, guitarist & producer) is the rare kind of introvert type, that just sinks into the music and stays there for the whole show, – and as part of the audience you stay there with him, inside the vibrant universe of The Doors, until it’s all over ..till The End! 

He is backed up by three experienced musicians, Georg Davidsen (Guitar, Midi Keys), Thomas Clausen (Bas, backing Vocal) and Lars Svane (drums). All of them old enough to have their musical roots in the ground of the 70’s, which guarantee the original Doors feeling, the unique blend of Rock, Blues, Latin & Psych, – and then off course its all dependent on that deep and “laid back” “snakey” voice of Mr. Olesen in front!
